This summer Vanz had a good friend and companion from his mission come visit from Australia and we decided to spend the week vacationing around Southern California with them.

first stop Venice Beach & Santa Monica Pier where Hobie decided shoes were optional and threw them over the pier...

one evening we took the boat to Shoreline Village for dinner and docked at the guest dock...

this lovely young lady was celebrating her Quinceanera there and figured our boat would be the perfect backdrop for her photos...
