D Land
We threw down the big cash* and renewed our Disney passes this week. I'd been holding off until I felt Hobart was of the proper age to enjoy the big Dland.
I was a little nervous for his reaction to the characters. He is really not much of a people person. I expected tears. I was pleasantly surprised that he was really excited by them. Don't get me wrong, he was holding on for dear life, but no tears and he even gave waves and high fives.
Hobie sizing Pluto up.
Sailor and P-dawg.
I should also mention that all these pictures are courtesy of handy I-phone. Thus, the lack of quality. I had pictures of Hobie loving up Mickey, but if you think the rest of these photos are bad...they look like Nat'l Geographic shots compared to the Mickey shots.
Hobie tolerated Pirates (liked drop, hated dark and noise), loved ToonTown, and love, loved Small World.
Here we are ready to tour the world. Sorry about the wonky eyes. We had serious red eye issues.
On the ride, passing Paris. Don't tell Sailor who thought the picture was with the can-can dancers in the background...thus the look of crazy on her face.
*After spending 10 years of my life employed by the Mouse...it is really hard for me to spend any amount of money at Disneyland.

It's never too early to go to the Happiest Place on Earth, well, actually that's not true. Infants are just too much trouble. Glad Hobie liked it. Since he's into shoes, did he like the big shoes on the characters?
a) you worked for Disney?
b) you look gorgeous in every picture.
c) can we please meet up? Did Vanz get a pass too?
