Milestones...
We've had a few milestones accomplished this week that are pretty noteworthy. Since they are all my own personal milestones, I'd might as well fill you in on a little secret. I have the n-word. Well, actually the p-word that sounds like an n-word. The PN-word.
Pneumonia.
I knew I was in trouble when the doctor asked if I had family close by. I was ordered to strict bed rest. But I am making progress and therefore can be proud of the mini milestones I have made thus far..
For instance,
On Thursday I gave my child a bath
I actually got dressed and stayed dressed
(lets face it..all my pjs were in the laundry at this point)
I only sleep for 3 hours during the day.
A big thanks to TV for babysitting my girlie.
I make an effort to at least time the naps to Hobie sleeping.
I threw up before going to church not during church..and hey, big props for even going to church! (I AM NOT CONTAGIOUS BY THE WAY).
The meds make me sick...not the flu.
I went to the grocery store on Monday. It wiped me out. Seriously.
I did laundry. I couldn't put it off any longer.
It took me two days to do one load. Folding excluded.
I am really on the mend. The bed rest lasted a whole 3 days. My cough is slowly leaving , I only have 2 more days of antibiotics and breathing only hurts if I do it deeply.
Today I may even try vacuuming.

HOLLY!!! Of course you have family near by...ME! That is a great benefit of us moving here. Although I am not down the street I am definitely close to take Sailor for the night, run down and take the kids for a few hours, ect.
PLEASE feel free to call me so you "family" can help next time, or this time if you still need it.
Feel better.

sorry holly! not fun. not only were you at church but you looked great.
Glad you are on the mend! I would have come running if I didn't live clear across the country. Don't overdo. Save your strength for our reunion. I'll be happy to help with kiddies.
Oh no Holly!! So sad! Glad you are feeling better though:)
