Adios, au revoir, auf wiedersehen...

As a girl I watched the Lawerence Welk show every single week. I couldn't get enough of the singing and dancing but my favorite thing about the show was the clothing and hair. Amazing.

When my brother and his family invited us down to The Lawrence Welk Resort and Spa to spend the day...well, you know I could not pass that up.

I have to say that it was not at all how I envisioned it. There were no old people anywhere! It was actually very modern and nice.

And yes, I know you are wondering if there were bubbles? Of course I saw bubbles!!

(Does it matter that it was a Mom blowing them for her son?)

The only thing I was disappointed about was that I didn't get to see the statue of Mr. Lawrence Welk himself which was on one of the golf courses. You know I would have included a picture if I did.

I guess the pictures of the kids having fun will have to suffice.

And speaking of Lawrence Welk. Vanz and I die every time they do the Lawrence Welk Show skit on SNL. If you haven't seen it you need to do your self a favor and watch.
