Super Reader...

At her school awards assembly last month Sailor received a special reading award. Her teacher commended her on always practicing her reading and spelling and congratulated her for reading at a first grade level only a few months into kindergarten! We are so proud of her. Although it was a sad day when Vanz & I realized we could no longer spell out what we were saying in front of her.

Her bff Bella also received a citizenship award at the assembly. I think Sailor was more excited for Bella than for herself!

And I had to post this picture even though it is grainy. Once they received the award they were supposed to shake the principal, Mr. J's hand. Doesn't it look like Sailor is expecting him to kiss her hand like she is royalty? Not at all surprised.
