One Month Old!

Our little Hobie is one month old! It feels like just yesterday that he joined (and completed) our family.  

Here are some 4 week old stats:  

*He started off as a tiny little boy but he has chunked up quite nicely. At 4 weeks he weighed a hefty 10 pounds!  

*From the moment he was born he was a great eater. He obviously enjoys his meals.  

*He is so strong! He was lifting his head up the day he was born.

*His nickname is Hobie Cat (as in the catamaran, not the animal).  Despite being called "Hobie One Kenobi" by just about everyone...that is NOT his nickname.  

*Has hit baby puberty and has slight case of baby acne :-(

*Has lots of hair (sort of in a male pattern baldness style currently)

*His hair is a pretty chestnut color with red and blond highlights

*Still has bright blue eyes! (I will be astounded if Vanz & I end up with two blue eyed kids)

*He no longer hates his bath 

*Smiles occasionally, usually in the mornings

*Loves being outdoors (a boy after his Daddy's heart)

*Knew immediately his days from nights and sleeps in 3-6 hours stretches at night

*Hates being in a carseat :-(

*Cries..quite a bit (more on that in another post)

We love this little guy so much and are so glad he is part of our family!
