Curtain Call...
The Wizard of Oz has finally ended its run. Sailor came out of her bedroom crying tonight because in her words, "I miss the Wizard of Oz." It was the best experience for her and although the timing was a bit stressful with the new baby, we are so glad she had the opportunity to be in the production (she had to get special permission to be in it because she was not yet 6 by the cutoff date). Vanz and I laughed every time we dropped her off because everyone knew her. We would constantly hear, "Hi Sailor!" from her Wizard friends (mostly teenagers), some of which Vanz and I didn't even know. It definitely boosted her already huge confidence level. She was so excited to have friends, Grandparents and lots of her cousins come to see her. Here are a few more pictures of her performing.

Our "Star!"

Backstage with Munchkin Anne

The Lullaby League (minus 2 girls). Sailor was so excited to be able to dance with Ali (the tallest ballerina in the back) who was Clara in one of Sailor's Nutcracker performances this past Christmas. Ali is an amazing ballerina!

I miss the Wizard of Oz too! It was so fun to see Sailor perform. Years from now when she is on Broadway we can say it started with The Wizard of OZ and Munchkinland.
