Pedicure

my mom is here from virginia taking very good care of my recovery process.  So good in fact, that she insisted upon my first no-baby outing to get pedicures a week after Hobie was born.  It felt so nice to be pampered and to make my way out of the house even if it was just for an hour that I didn't even care that the first thing the nail tech said to me was, "when is your baby due?"

 *In her defense I was a week post delivery and did really look about 5 months pregnant! 

She must have felt pretty bad so she gave me free flowers on my toes WITH sparkles.  "Free since you a new mom...this time only" (that sentence is not missing a word, that is what she said).  I was a little bummed since I just wanted plain red toes without flowers, but Sailor thinks they look amazing.
