ROSE PARADE FLOATS
Sailor spent New Year's Eve at Grandma & Grandpa's house to play with her cousin Jandi. Vanz and I met up with them the next afternoon in Pasadena to look at all the floats from the Rose Parade. Although, I have lived in So. California my entire life, I have never been to the parade or to see the floats. They were pretty amazing to see in person.
Obviously, we were not the only people looking at the floats. The amount of people there was ridiculous.
The Mad Hatter from the Alice in Wonderland Float
The White Rabbit from the Alice float
Of course, all the flowers were beautiful
One of the reasons we had to come see the floats
Vanz & Sailor in front of our award winning Huntington Beach float!
Sailor loved the surfing family on "our" float

Sailor, Baby & I had to take a photo in front of the Alaska float

The Roseville float
I could not leave without posting my hometown float. Go Angels! Or as Sailor would say, "Coach Mike...you better win this year!"

Holly, I got to go up this year too and see some of the floats when they were being put togather! We actually put a rose on the "Donate Life" float in honor of my mom. It was amazing to see them under construction, we saw the "Roseville",and the "Anaheim" floats before they were all done! That was my first time up there too see them! Funny, I wish were there at the same time and ran into one another! I will post some pics i took as soon as I learn how to download from my new camera.
Thanks for the photos of the Rose Parade Floats. Yes, why is it that we never went to the Rose Parade? It's on my "to do" list for things I must do and see.
