IT IS OFFICIAL...WE ARE HAVING A BABY

For some reason the start of my third trimester induced me into a "I am not ready yet" baby panic.  I am 11 weeks away (hopefully more like 10 weeks for my sanity...have I mentioned I do not enjoy being pregnant...go ahead and judge.  I don't have a glow, I am swollen, uncomfortable and will still love my baby just as much as someone who can't get enough of being pregnant).  I am finally starting to get things ready.  Sort of.  

The crib is still in the garage being readied (i.e. being painted to match the bedding...well we haven't actually started painting yet, but we do have the paint!) 

The bedding arrived a few weeks ago and is in a box in the closet waiting to be washed and set up.

  

The stroller arrived last week and I LOVE it.  I want to take it on walks already, but my neighbors will think I am crazy.

The car seat will arrive next week.  

I ordered a diaper bag yesterday also (do you get the sense that I only will purchase something if I don't have to leave my house to get it).  

I am slowly, but surely checking things off my baby "to-do" list.  Sailor and I pull out his clothes every once in a while and look at how tiny things are.  She is also getting very excited although I am sure she has no idea what she is in for.  We have daily chats about babies needing lots of attention and that she will need to be a big help to her Mommy and new little brother.

To keep me busy I have also made a few of these cuties.
