SNEAK PEEK!

Sailor has been working so hard this year on The Ballet Repertory Theatre's Nutcracker at our local college.  She has been practicing for it since this summer. Last week was the dress rehearsal and stage rehearsal.   Her first performance is this weekend.  We are so excited to see all her hard work come to life! Here are a few pictures from her dress rehearsal at the studio.

Dancing during the Nutcracker vs. Mouse King scene

Look at her gazing longingly at the pink tutu!

She couldn't resist touching it!

She was a little preoccupied watching the "big" mice dance to actually make sure she was on her mark.

The sad goodbye!

I think this is my favorite photo of all time. Sailor is not upset, she is in "character". They are currently "offstage" for about 4 minutes and when they go back out it is to say goodbye to the audience because the Nutcracker has defeated the Mouse King. They are supposed to be very sad. She is just practicing her "art." I laugh every time I look at that face.

The pictures are priceless. Oh how I wish I had been there. I think she is destined for Show Biz.

I think I was in this for 6 or 7 years in a row. I am so jealous you get to have your daughter in this! I've been meaning to talk to you about OCDC. I'll have to see if London and I can come see Sailor.
