KETCHIKAN
Our first port in Alaska was Ketchikan. My parents, Vanz and I took the 3 youngest grand kids (Sailor included) and toured the city. Here are the many, many pictures.
The city is an old mining town. Many of the old buildings are still there.
Yet another shot of the mining village.
One of the many totem poles we saw.
Sailor and Jack...best cousin friends. At one point Sailor said to him, "Jackson...will you come live at my house? If you miss your Mom I will take you back. You could be my brother". To which he replied, " I am not your brother...I am your cousin."
It is so hard to tell which one is the real totem pole! (Yes, those are binoculars around her neck. They were more of an accessory than a necessity).
Salmon!!
Don't ask. She wanted to pose for us.
Grandpa and the kids.
Beautiful Ketchikan!!
(if you look really close, you can see the Sea Plane coming in!)

I love the pictures. You captured many shots that I missed. I of course like any pictures with family in them.
did you take the picture of mom and dad with the orca and eagle? if i would have known i wouldn't have purchased the same picture from princess. also, don't include any fat pictures of me.
What an awesome trip. So glad you guys had fun. Sailor is a ready made model...so cute!
