JUNEAU WHALES
Some of went whale watching in Juneau and we saw a rare occurence called bubble netting. It is evidently unique to Humpbacks and they create a trap for the fish by circling around them and creating bubbles. As soon as the fish rise to the surface they attack. They swore to us that it was an once in a lifetime thing to see!
Beautiful Juneau
Bear Island off the coast. The bear population triples the human population here.
