MISSING SAILOR..
Sailor went to Grandma camp for the last day and a half. I have had this day on my calendar in anticipation of the "me" time. I couldn't wait! The morning she left I woke up before 8am (early for me) to get the girlie packed and ready. She was excited. I was excited.
Off she went with lots of kisses and hugs with Daddy for the Grandma exchange. I showered, I leisurely got ready, watched last night's episode of Shear Genius (kind of obsessed with that show). Re-watched Will and Katie's a-ma-zing Pas de Deux ballet on SYTYCD again. Unloaded and loaded the dishwasher, went to the car wash (and didn't have to buy anyone a treat!), installed bluetooth (boo!) drove down PCH (yeah for living at the beach!) and arrived at Fashion Island.
I went in all the shops I don't normally get to go in and didn't have to buy anyone a carousal ride. Stopped at El Pollo Loco and didn't have to get anyone a Frostee.
I am home now and you know what? I am missing my
Frostee loving,
carousal riding,
treat wanting,
mess making girl.
Sometimes*(*most of the time) she makes me want to pull me hair out, but when she wants to be, she can be the sweetest girl. Like when she tells me:
She wants to build Aunt Emily a house...but not to tell her!
And is going to give her toys to Jandi when she grows up.
When she thinks anyone wearing a suit with a white shirt is a Missionary and calls out, "Hi Elders!"
When she puts on shows for the neighbors with her microphone.
Who quotes "The Pigeon wants a Hot Dog"
and uses words like..."That dance is exquisite" (we watched SYTYCD together...she liked Chelsie's Jive).
I will have to remind myself of all these things during her next naughty phase.

Aunt Jillian & Uncle Jonathan miss Sailor too! We were spoiled and were able to see her 2 times in one month and now we can't wait for the cruise! We can have her stay in our cabin one night on the cruise if you would like:)
Sailor is one in a million!
