EMILY

Today is my sister Emily's birthday.   She is my favorite person.  Here are all the reasons why:

She is creative and the most stylish person I know. 

She always has amazing clothes, shoes and hairstyles.  Unfortunately she is easily a foot taller than I am so we can't share clothes.   That and she lives on the complete opposite side of the country.  

She has great taste in music.

She loves D-Listed and Style.com as much as I do.  I can always be sure that if I have seen something on either site she will have seen it as well. 

She had Chanel sunglasses before anyone I know and tried to tell me they were fake so I wouldn't tell our Mom how much they cost.  

She misses Arrested Development as much if not more than I do.  

I don't even care that she loves puppies more than babies.  

Or that she refers to my husband as a Leprechaun.  (Because he is shorter than her)

I also love that a serious conversation with her sometimes goes something like this...

Emily: "I am a little bit nervous for the cruise".  (Referring to our upcoming family cruise to Alaska)  "Hitting an iceberg and drowning in cold water is my second worst way I could die"

Holly:  "What is your first worst way to die?"

Emily:  (without hesitation) "Being buried alive"

So today I dedicate my blog to you!  Happy Birthday Emily!!
