MOTHER'S DAY RECAP..
Vanz won huge points for his Mother's Day gift this year by taking our little family to Mammoth for 4 days. We stayed at this amazing place which was actually in June Mountain and he gifted me with a wonderful massage and facial at the spa. He even gave me the option of taking the trip without the little one, but since we were celebrating Mother's Day I felt like it would be appropriate to have her with us. She is pretty easy to take places and I love seeing her excitement when we visit new places and go on "new adventures" as she likes to call it. Here are some photos of the last 4 days!!

The cabin we stayed in. I wish I would have taken a photo of the master bed. It was literally made out of trees with the branches right above you. Kind of amazing, but oddly creepy too. At night all I could think about was the trees in the Haunted Mansion ride.
The beautiful snow-capped Sierra's right above us.
To the right of the resort were gorgeous waterfalls in the mountains. We saw at least a dozen of them from the melting snow and even hiked to one.
Silver Lake which was just down the street from the Resort.
The little waterfall we all hiked to.
More hiking sights...
A really bad self portrait. (It was hard to balance the camera on a rock, set the timer, climb back on the rock and assure it focused correctly!)
Sailor found a perfect walking stick for the trek.
Giant redwood trees.
One tired hiker (I am referring to Vanz who had to carry Sailor part of the way).
