BALLET DRESS REHEARSAL

Sailor had her ballet class dress rehearsal for her June recital this week! (Then Mommy hid the costume until the recital to prevent further "practices" in it).

Obviously the little girl next to Sailor didn't get the memo that a dress rehearsal included actually wearing your ballet tights.

Miss Lindsay giving the girls a pep talk.

Sailor with ballet friends Heather & Bella

Such determination!

Look at that pique!

I can only imagine the conversation Sailor is having with Heather.  I imagine it is something along the lines of, "Heather, don't we look beautiful in our fancy costumes"  or perhaps, " I wish I had a mirror this big in my bedroom!"  Most likely by her worried appearance it is probably something like, "I just don't know what will happen if they don't let me play Clara in next years Nutcracker."

Living by her favorite ballerina motto
"PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT"

Too cute! Wish I could be there for the recital. She looks much more skilled and polished than just a year ago when she had her last recital. Does she get to keep the costume? I can just imagine her dancing on your brick wall in the front yard for all to see.

Absolutley hilarious...the comments you made make the picturees that much more real. Way too cute.
Emily as well continues to talk about Sailor except she doesn't remember names as well. She says, "mom, you know, my park friend." Anyway we should get the girls together, I'll call ya!
