In our running series of weekend adventures we spent this weekend visiting Mt. Wilson and the observatory. Again, it was a first for me. The weather was beyond perfect and there was no-one there! We hiked around and felt like we were on top of the world looking down onto the clouds and the city below. Much to Sailor's delight we even found snow that had not yet melted.

On our journey we found a compass on the ground and Vanz was trying to explain to Sailor what it was.

He pointed to the N and said, "Do you know what the N points to"?

Sailor's reply as she glanced into the forrest. "Yes. It points to where the bears are."
