BATTER UP!

We took Sailor to a baseball game this week. She has been wanting to go for a while. She was a little irritated that her Daddy took Grandpa G a few weeks ago when he was in town on business and not her. Once we got there she was a little apprehensive.

She told me the baseball game made her feel "shy." She was also unhappy that I made her wear red. It's not her first favorite color...it's her third favorite. Especially when she realized that they sell pink baseball hats for girlie's.

But, Vanz explained things to her and she warmed right up. Soon she was cheering along and clapping for the Angels, but not for the team in green.

She really enjoyed herself when Daddy bought her a hot dog. She said it smelled just like Wienerschnitzel. The fact that she had peanuts as well just added to her enjoyment.

She even did her best Chris Farley imitation for us.

The highlight however was the pink baseball cap Daddy bought her which she wore to bed that night and took to school the next day...along with her ticket stubs. In case someone didn't believe her.

Yeah, a 4th generation Angel fan! Go Angels. . . by the way did they win? How did the seats compare to aisle 13 Row G seats 3 & 4? I'm relying on my memory. Is that correct?

So close mom. It's Section 113, Row G, seats 3 and 4. Good memory though. Holly, hopefully you didn't have an old guy sitting behind you that kept yelling at Sailor to "Sit down!" or pop the beach balls with his knife. Oh, the memories....

We did check to see who was in the seats that night...they were empty. I even had a camera in case we needed photos.
