THE REAL HOUSEWIFE OF OC
There are many occasions when I wish I didn't live in Orange County. Perhaps it is because I grew up here and knew what it was like to live here before it become notorious and known as "THE OC*." Every once in a while though I will go somewhere or do something and I will be reminded why maybe it's not so bad.
Sailor suggested we have a "fire at the beach" and cook "some-mores." The beauty of living in Huntington is that we can on a whim go to the ocean and spend 5 minutes or 5 hours. We grabbed some dinner, packed up some marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers and off we went. We stayed long enough to eat dinner and cook a few treats. We had a few errands to run so we left our perfectly burning fire to someone who probably drove in from somewhere not so close. It was perfect. No wind, not too chilly and right in our backyard. It reminded me that I can't really complain because yes there are some things about Orange County that I don't particularly enjoy, but there are quite a few things that make me certain that living in Huntington Beach makes it all worth it.
*Season I and II of “The OC” were really good...I will admit
