ZNOWS!!!

We are in love. In love with Znows. Znows is an ice cream shop just down the street, but not any ordinary ice cream shop. It is a little slice of heaven on earth! Nothing compares. Not 31, Not Haggan Daaz, Not Ben, Not Jerry..nothing. It is so delicious and we love it. Vanz and I are obsessed with their chocolate hazelnut ice cream. Sailor loves anything they have as long as it includes sprinkles (actual sprinkles...not the cupcakes. That is a whole other love and blog).

We frequent Znows alot. They know us, we actually own shirts that say "ZNOWS" on them. If they had a website I would make you link to it as well. (They don't yet). We tell eveyone we know in Huntington Beach to go there. We cannot bear to have them go out of business.

Tonight we went and there was a interesting lady there who took a liking to just about anyone that would give her the time of day. Let me explain first, Znows is an experience. You don't scoop and leave. You scoop and stay. You enjoy the atmosphere and delight in eating your Znows at Znows.

Back to the lady..she was odd. She had a gorgeous digital Canon with her. I know my digital cameras. It was an expensive one. The EOS 40D (I know because I would love one...it is the step up from my rebel)! She started taking pictures of Sailor who was covered in chocolate. She is adorable. Who could fault her for wanting to take her picture. Then she started taking pictures of Vanz and I. Weird. I probably would have been slightly irritated, but they she opened my hard heart with the golden words of, "You are gorgeous...are you french?" She had me at " "You are gorgeous"...she was just sucking up by addding the French part."

We still aren't sure why she took our pictures. She started chatting up the owner and we made a clean (well, not so clean Sailor was awfully chocolate-y) getaway.
