WHAT HAVE I DONE??

I did a really stupid (cue Sailor saying, "Stupid is not a nice word") thing today. I went running in our gym which I usually do at night when Sailor is in bed. This time I did it during the day. It wasn't the first time time I had done this and often Sailor goes with me and I think to myself, "probably not the safest idea." I usually throw a DVD in and keep her entertained and always remind her "STAY AWAY FROM THE TREADMILL!" Well, today no such luck. I was running and she had a yoga ball and it went next to the treadmill and she went to retrieve it and got caught in the treadmill as it was moving. I am lucky that she didn't break every bone in her little body. Thank goodness for the emergency stop cord. She was literally caught underneath the machine. She was horribly traumatized (both of us were), but it seems the only damage is that a good chunk of skin was taken off her gorgeous face. Her cheek and arms got it when they rubbed against the running treadmill. Right now she is swollen and puffy from crying and from being injured, but all in one piece.
