PRICELESS QUOTES OF NOVEMEBER
There were so many things that Sailor says that make us laugh. We decided to write them all down..
Vanz to Sailor as we were leaving a restaurant and she was grabbing some souveniers.
Vanz-"Sailor those are business cards. You don't need those"
Sailor- "But, I would like to do some business.."
To Mom and Dad as we were doing some shopping where there were some fall decorations, "Exccuuuuuse me!...this pumpkin looks familiar!"
To preschool teacher Miss Lynette after she asked Sailor to stop pretending to put lipstick on her mouth with markers.
"I hear what you are saying and I understand."
Our neighbors just recently got divorced. The husband got the house and his ex wife and daughter whom Sailor loved moved to a new house. Sailor still sometimes still calls it Cierra's house (the daughter's name). Here is a recent conversation she had with me about it...
"Oh, look at the flowers at Cierra's house...I mean Danny's house. I bet he really misses his family. I really need to find out what is going on there"
After putting on her fancy velvet dress and bow, "I love being a girl!"
"Mom, after Thanksgiving is over can we go to Africa?"
During the prayer.."And please bless that I can have a mirror in my bedroom" (for those who don't know, she is the most vain child ever. I have no idea where she got that from).
"Mom, I need to sleep with my lipgloss in case I need to put on some makeup in the middle of the night".
All my Project Runway watching must have rubbed off on Sailor because she brought me wrapping paper and asked me to help her make a pattern to create an outfit for the pretend party she was hosting. She got fancy with jewelry and makeup and asked me to help her put her outfit together. I asked her if she wanted to be a fashion designer and her response was, "no, I want to be a party designer."
"Mom...you are never going to believe your eyes!"
After putting on an outfit she didn't like, "this looks ridiculous!"
"Mom...today is my lucky day!"
A few days before Thanksgiving.."Uhhhh...we still haven't gone to Africa!!"
