ARTIST AT HEART
Our little Sailor is quite an artist. She loves to draw pictures more than anything. I can't tell you how many pictures a day we bring home from preschool. The director of her school asked me once if either Vanz or I were artists since Sailor is so artistic. In our defense, we are both very creative. Vanz & I took these in depth tests and found that aesthetics were very important to both of us. We appreciate all things beautiful. So, it is only natural that Sailor would be inclined to be creative. She drew this picture today and I loved it so much. She put so much detail into it. Pretty good for a girl who just turned 4.
It is a picture of me (you can see where she drew my name after her name, but started to run out of room). I am dressed like a fairy as you can tell by the fairy wings and magic wand I am holding in the picture. Being the fancy girl that she is, of course I have lovely eyelashes and luscious lips. Notice that I also am wearing my hair in pig tails and have earrings. It's hard to tell, but she also gave me a fancy necklace. She clearly thinks I am magical, which I think in a preschoolers world means I am a really good Mom.
She also is writing words and spelling. She is such a little smarty pants. Obviously, she gets that from me.
