TRICK OR TREAT!!

Last year on Halloween we were in Hawaii so Sailor didn't get to trick or treat. This year Sailor was so excited to trick or treat. She had a great time going around the neighborhood as Tink. She was very popular with the neighbors who in turn rewarded her with extra candies. Thanks alot!!

However, the highlight for her turned out not to be the candy she got, but the treats she gave. We went out pretty early and so when we got home we still had plenty of trick or treaters. Let me start by saying that I passed out packages of pretzels for Halloween. Some people (Emily) thought that was a ridiculous "treat", however the results were surprisingly positive. And just for the record, I was not trying to be cheap..they were actually more expensive than candy. I was just thinking of all the candy Sailor would get and how pretzels would be a healthier alternative.

Back to passing out candy..Sailor was beyond thrilled to pass out candy. She took it upon herself to make sure that the entire neighborhood hit our house. Here are some of our favorite quotes from Sailor while she was passing out candy:

Screaming to kids down the street "Hey guys!!! Come in here!"

As they are walking up to the door: "Please take one at a time...one at a time"

After they got the treat: "Now say thank you"

To Mommy after they left "I love how they speak kind"

"Happy Halloween you guys!"

This child loves an audience. Oh and I forgot to mention...she was in her nightgown but added a crown because, "she wanted to look nice for all of them."
