PAJAMA DAY!
Sailor's preschool didn't allow the kids to dress in costume for Halloween. I am not sure of the reasoning behind it, but I think it has something to do with "not everybody celebrates Halloween." Personally, I don't know anyone who doesn't celebrate. Although, when I was in grade school I remember that Jennifer Lutz's family never got to dress up.
Instead of celebrating by dressing up in costume, the school chose to have pajama day. Since I was helping in the classroom I got the pleasure of dressing in pj's also. Being the fancy girl that she is, Sailor refuses to wear pants (leggings or dresses/skirts exclusively) she was the only child in the entire school with a nightgown. It didn't seem to bother her. She got to bring
her blanket and favorite stuffed toy (which was actually two toys...a stuffed Darby and Buster).
