First Week of Summer Vacation!

Sailor has finished her first year of preschool and is officially on summer vacation! Instead of parking in front the of the television all summer I've decided to be proactive and have a weekly "theme." Our first weeks theme was "Garden Week." We kept ourselves very busy planting flowers, veggies and herbs. Sailor released ladybugs into our garden and carefully made sure each one she could catch (there were 1500 of them!) had a home. Many were placed in basil, some in roses and a few in dill or lavender. She learned all about plants and insects, so I feel like we made it one full week keeping her entertained and occupied while still having fun and learning! Only 11 more weeks to go!
